SUNSET, which is based in Bavaria, was founded in 1979. Through its pioneering work SUNSET has helped solar energy be recognised as a genuine alternative to other forms of energy. SUNSET has developed into a leading privately-owned solar company. The company is a system-house and distributor of solar power and solar hot water systems, involved in the production of wafers, solar cells, solar modules as well as solar collectors, tanks, controllers and accessories. We specialise in complete, ready-to-install sun sets as well as custom designed systems. Production sites in Germany, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Egypt and Israel provide a wide range of products. With three additional branches in Germany, branches in Austria, Brazil, Namibia, Singapore, Tunesia, USA and Turkey and a local presence in China SUNSET can take care of customers requirements world-wide. In 2005 the sales of solar collectors exceeded 160.000 m², and the turnover of photovoltaic modules exceeded a total of 32 MWp. |
